March 30th, 2007 (02:55 pm)

I noticed there's still Take That tickets for Belfast, and they're standing ones. Messaged Stacey who said she's up for that but will need to wait until her student loan comes in. So if there's still tickets by April 16th, we're off to Belfast.

I was working last night. Nights are so stressful. I was totally freaking out about not getting stuff done which only got worse when I remembered we now need to remove every phone/ipod etc from behind the counter incase we get broken into (other local stores did recently) and then I need to put 2 metal bars into each drawer (36 bars in total) then crawl around on the floor padlocking them. Oh it's a wonderful task. So I hardly got anything done. Top of my list was "change games charts". There's 12 of them! PS2, PS2 cheap chart, PSP, PSP cheap chart, PS3, GBA, GBA cheap chart, NDS, NDS cheap chart, Xbox 360, Xbox 360 cheap chart, Nintendo Wii, PC. Damn those cheap charts. They just APPEARED one day. Grr.

March 10th, 2007 (11:00 am)

I don't wanna be first to update about the Lily gig :-p

Think I'm booking a ticket today for The Outsiders festival. Which means no glasto cos it's the same weekend. BUT KT is playing and it's on her birthday, how awesome is that? It's only 50 quid for 3 days and has mountain biking and rock climbing and canoeing and stuff. Which haha, I am so not sporty but it could still be ace. I told Siobhan im not going to glasto and she's cool with it, Im just waiting till my mum gets home from Asda before I book cos she'll moan at me if I book without telling her.

A GIRL.

Gasp shock horror.

I had sod all to do today after getting up at 9am to book V festival tickets so I decided to spend the day in the bath. Well like over an hour. Then wash, dry and straighten hair. Put on makeup. Currently waiting for my bus (will leave the house in like 15mins) and am wearing..

This top thing which is like black and grey stripey with a 3/4 length sleeved black thing over it. Though the black and grey top doesn't have a back, it's all attached.

New grey jeans

My boots with heels.

God I'm going to fall on my arse.

Films films films

February 13th, 2007 (02:37 pm)

I've been on a bit of a film kick the past week or so. Haven't been in college much because of the way the new timetable is. So I have watched:

Click
Little Miss Sunshine
About a boy
Devil wears prada
The breakfast club
Hoodwinked
Princess diaries 2
Tomb Raider
Tomb Raider 2
Girl interrupted
Hard candy
Nanny McPhee
Imagine me and you

I am watching 'Havoc'. Oh my god. I either love it, or hate it. Very very shocking film. Partly because lovely though she is, I do not want to see Anne Hathaway naked. She's meant to just be in cutesy type films! That's just upsetting.

Films I have still to watch, that I have bought or 'acquired' lately (some I have already seen, just not since I got them on dvd):
The sentinel
The last kiss
The prestige
Madagascar
Brokeback mountain
A series of unfortunate events
Mrs Henderson presents
The lost boys

So that should keep me out of trouble for a wee while. Have some tv boxsets to watch as well.

Ideology

December 15th, 2006 (04:56 pm)

I'm suppose to be writing an essay but it's REALLY boring and difficult.

I have answered the question on the feminism part, now I'm onto marxism and then liberal pluralism. Someone put me out of my misery.

This stuff is interesting enough when you're sitting in class getting lectures on it, but it is not fun to write essays on.

December 14th, 2006 (02:38 pm)

College was a bit of a waste of time today. Only 2 people (including me) turned up on time. Even our lecturer was late. Then some other folk wandered in. She handed out another essay and then I left.

Paolo Nutini gig tonight. Hurrah.

Hmm

November 25th, 2006 (08:16 pm)

I've been struggling over a couple of ideas for Christmas. Can't really say on here haha. But I had a thought. And it's either really good or really stupid and folk won't like it. But I can't say on here. Gosh darnit.

November 12th, 2006 (08:15 pm)

I have lost all motivation. I have a few hours tonight with nothing to do. But I don't wanna go back to my essay. It's crap. And I don't wanna look at it because it'll just remind me how crap it is.

Probably means I'll be rushing to get it finished before college tomorrow.

I think I shall just go and sit and watch telly in my room. And write to Aurelia. Because thats something on my 'to do list' so at least I won't feel guilty. Just need some time doing nothing though because I am that exhausted and stressed.

Had a good customer today. This old lady, she was buying a bread bin. But the one on the shelf was bashed and she was disappointed there was no box for it. So I went upstairs, found her a new one that wasn't bashed. And found her a box, which actually meant chucking stuff in a box just onto the shelf in the stockroom so I could steal the box haha. And she was really grateful. And asked about this mug holder thing as well, and asked if it came in a box. And I said I could try and get her one, and explained that I had pinched the other box lol. She was really really grateful. So I took her stuff to the till for her, and she told a couple of folk I work with how helpful I had been. And kept thanking me.

It's nice when you get nice people. But for every nice customer, theres 50 arseholes who will shout at you for things that aren't your fault.
